hi
i am relocating to Atlanta with my family(me , my wife ,8y ,6 y , and infant.

i would take your advice where to live< but i consider the following:

1- i need god, very safe place to rent near 14th west where is my work.i prefer good place with security guards and parking.

2- i think 2 bed room is enough for me because the infant will with me and his mom . isn't?

3- is v high lands close safe and close to my work at 14th west to 75-85 ? is it family-friendly district?

4- my budget is 1500 $ ( utilities not includrd)
i will ask you further, need your help, and want to thank you in advance

I'm not as knowledgeable about single family houses, but I live near Home Park. You may be able to find some houses to rent in that range, but I wouldn't say the neighborhood is 100% "safe." And there's nothing really there with both security guards and parking. Atlantic Station is nearby, and they've been stepping up patrols in the area of late. Parking there is gated for some of the townhomes. But again, in the not-so-distant past, there's been some significant crime in that area.

Virginia Highland is much safer, but it's not really near Home Park at all.

If you're looking for safety as a top priority, you're probably going to have to drive a bit.

I would look around Collier Rd. and Defoors Ferry or around Piedmont hospital in Buckhead.

Apartments for Rent - Apartment Locator Service | PROMOVE.com gets recommended a lot, they can help you find what you need.

I second the suggestion to talk to Promove. Just be explicit about the things you're looking for in an apartment and neighborhood, and they can help you find somewhere as close as possible to work in an affordable/safe area.

For this I would say your best bet is an extended stay hotel. There's Intown suites and extended stay America that I know of. These are basically a hotels that you pay by the week for, so you'd pay like $30-$50 a night at a bulk week rate.

There are a lot of affordable condos for rent along Peachtree near Lindbergh. From there you are 3-4 miles from Home Park and a quick 10 minute commute.
