This would all be harmless if these kids didn't carry this type of behavior into adulthood.

Local taxes are paid for things like public schools, road maintenance, various services like police and fire, etc. Maybe playgrounds count as "entertainment" for younger kids...?

I still don't see anywhere in there where it states that it is the city's responsibility to provide entertainment for teens.

It aint so bad once you get used to them. Its apart of Atlanta life, after awhile you dont even notice them.

I've looked at a lot of the violent flash mob vids on Youtube. Mind you, Youtube is a pretty democratic place and pretty much anyone...and I mean ANYONE can open an account and post a video.

I am pretty disturb by the results of my searches. Far too many of these attacks are being pertuated by African American teens.

Someone(s) in the communities where these kids reside have dropped the ball somewhere along the way...and if this troublesome situation doesn't get handled, these kids may find whatever promising futures they could've had to be cut short in a violent way.

Not trying to play the blame game here, but I gotta call it like I see it.

Are any of these mob attacks being carried out by anyone other than African American teens?

I must say, it's hard to think of anything right off hand that does more to reinforce a negative image of young urban blacks. Apparently these attacks have been made not only in Atlanta but in many other cities as well.
