Hi All,

I am from NJ but have been living in Augusta for last year with family. Although Aug and the people are nice, its not necessarily my speed. Want to move to ATL but dont know the areas. I am looking for
1. Rental (Apt/Condo
2. Max $750 ( I am on a fixed income until I get settled and than I will decide to get back in workforce or my first preference - to finish my degree
3. I have a car but I would like to adopt a pedestrian lifestyle
4. No children, dogs,etc
5. Mix of urban/suburban/diversifed neighborhood and access to public transportation
6. I looked at the Grove at Lenox park, but was just slightly out of my price range but would have loved to live there.
7. ITP or close to is peferred.

Thank you so much for all your help!.

Check out this place. It's an older, but very well kept complex 3 blocks from the Brookhaven MARTA station. It is extremely convenient to everything on the Northside, and just above Buckhead. There is a new village area that has emerged withing walking distance that is very nice.

Default Looking for nice safe affordable apt close to buckhead

Thanks so much. But one thing I forgot to mention, must have a patio or balcony. Gotta have my personal outside space for my sanity. Also is vinings a good area?

Vinings is a very good area by some standards. It might even be considered walkable, though there are only a few restaurants and trendy stores in the immediate area (Vinings Jubilee).

It's ITP (inside the I-285 perimeter), but it's outside of the City of Atlanta, and both attributes are seen as positive by some folks here.

here's one very close to lindbergh station, between buckhead and midtown. slightly older, but it does seem to have balconies as well.

Harmony Peachtree Hills Apartments

you might also check out 771 lindbergh, right next door to the complex i'm in. (sorelle) my boyfriend and i had strongly considered moving there, twice, but ended up here because of a move in special (and the kitchen layout, lol)

I checked out Lindbergh which was very nice. Thank you.

I was also considering using the service ProMove being that I am new to the Atlanta area. Has anyone used them?
