What do you guys think? The amenities seem very nice and the location is convenient to many locations in Atlanta. I took a drive of the neighborhood and it's kind of dodgy but the views from this area are amazing and I can see the neighborhood turning around if they get rid of all the riff-raff that is on Simpson Road and surrouding areas.

If you were in the market would you consider this townhome development?

If this were a LONG term investment (>15 years), then MAYBE if I had the money. But if this is a place you are going to live in for a little bit and then move, forget about it and look elsewhere. There are lots of other developments to consider that have similar amenities (albeit smaller floorplans) that are in better neighborhoods.

So bottom line - I would look elsewhere.

I hope this place takes off (really I do), because it would be a shot in the arm (metaphorically speaking) for this part of town. I just think it would have been better placed on Bankhead closer to Northside or even Simpson closer to Northside.

For certain just about every major developer owns some property in that area, and when the developing starts the transformation will happen rapidly. I don't think it will take >15 years for this area to turn around, because of the growing demand/desire to live close in. In that area there are entire apartment complexes that are empty and I expect to see those razed in the next few years.

My suggestion to developers would be to make this area a hub of eco friendly development. Put in wind mills, solar powered condos, ultra modern homes, green houses, etc. There would be a lot of free press (even national) and it would make people feel like the area is more than turning around, but taking a step in the right direction. Perhaps they could even work together (in unison) like the developers revitalizing "The Gulch" portion of Downtown.

I definately believe if they had built closer to Northside Drive on Bankhead or Simpson they would be seeing more buyers and more interest in the area. It's just too far deep on Simpson Road to attract alot of buyers at this moment. On the next street over the views are amazing from the hill, you can see all of Atlanta with no obstruction!

Both streets are located in great strategic areas and I cant wait until their is a concerted effort to turn the area around!
