Hi,

My family is planning to move to GA at the end of August from NJ. We are looking at the new homes in Suwanee - Belmore Manor by Ashtonwood Homes. The address listed is 41 Belmore Manor Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024.

We have 2 children (11 and 8).

Does anyone have any deets on this area that you can provide?

Thanks!

Nice area, in one of the best elementary school clusters in Gwinnett. Hard to go wrong with anywhere in the 30024 zip code (with the exception of the east side of I-85 which is mediocre at best).

I don't know much about that particular subdivision in Suwanee, but i do know that Ashton Woods is a quality builder with a good reputation in the Atlanta area.

Ashton Woods recently built Jaden Woods in Johns Creek, (Northview) 30097 in 2007 and also built out Madison Park (Johns Creek High) in Johns Creek, 30024. Both subdivisions sold out fairly quickly from my knowledge. They build good quality homes and their warranty is excellent.

Suwanee is a very nice area for families. Like is always said though, make sure it is a reasonable commute from your job location.

Just a heads up (in case you aren't aware) that school starts here by mid-August at the latest. Here is Gwinnett's calendar for the 2012-2013 school year. It looks as if school starts August 6, 2012. You may want to try and get here before the first day. It might make everything easier.

Good luck!

Oh, that is great news overall. Gives us a lot of insight. We are looking forward to visiting during spring break!

Would you happen to know of any Active Adult Communities near that area. Looking to motivate my in-laws to move with us. :-)

Thanks again! Best informational website ever!!

Thanks for this info. My sister lives in Alpharetta and did tell me school starts in August. I would move with the kids a little earlier while the second half clears loose ends in NJ.
