Thoughts on the best gym inside the perimeter. Affordable Price, amenities, friendly staff, cleanliness, pool, and space are my biggest concerns.

So where is the best gym in Atlanta?

What price range and services are you looking for.

Atlanta offers top rate fitness centers like LifeTime Fitness and basic no service gyms.

Is this an indiviual or family membership?

From your basic description, I would think LA Fitness would be a good place to start.

You said "gym", so my suggestions might be a little off, as they are Health Clubs/Fitness Centers and not gyms.

However, here goes...

Athletic Club Northeast is widely regarded as one of the best athletic clubs ITP.

It's market competitor Midtown at Windy Hill is just OTP in Smyrna.

I hope this helps.

I've heard LA Fitness' customer service is pretty terrible and it's high pressure sales for memberships and personal trainers.

YMCA is a good alternate to LA Fitness.
