I think Brother Aries was kidding.

Dunwoody has always had a reputation for being pretty white bread, although it's actually pretty diverse (as the stats you cite show).

Sorry, I wasn't sure. I don't get up that way much. The traffic scares me.

speaking of Dunwoody - and don't mean to hijack the post - and yes, to the OP, it's a great place to live and convenient and great deals on houses -- but are there any plans for a facelift of Dunwoody Village in the works? The layout is so ripe for a cute village but the place is so darn dated it's depressing. I'd even be willing to work on a committee or something to up our image! Anyone know any scoop?

Hey, I'll take what I can get.
Anyway, thanks for this info. I hope it means the dated brick will get some updates and the retail will revamp their 'hair salon for the ladies' image. Anyone have inside info on new retail coming into the village?

Sheesh, what an ugly thing to say, cq!

And what's "fake" about Dunwoody? They've got the bones for an excellent downtown village and their plan is very forward thinking in my opinion.

More power to them!

I know it's a bit late, but it really depends on where you plan to work, AFTER you land the job. What you said (good schools, close to where I work, etc) could describe Smyrna, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, or Brookhaven. But where's the job?
