Awesome news! I may be moving to Midtown from NY in a few weeks. Glad that Atlanta is making progress towards more high rises.

It's nothing to brag on when most of them are sitting half empty. I'll celebrate when there are high rise businesses going up instead.

Right but it's the fact that my rent price may be a bit cheaper since they're hurting for people to fill the apartments.

Midtown has a lack of apartments. These will sell good and add density to the area. More reason to add the beltline midtown connection.

Jobs, in-town high-density residence, and another nice-looking high-rise.

I always love win-win.

Actually there is a lack of supply as demand is high for rentals, that is why 2 highrise apts are under construction and 2 more are proposed, all in midtown.

Really? I have heard from a lot of people, and got the impression from brownhornet, that most are empty...

Empty condos, yes. Apartments, not so much. There are not many high-rise apartment complexes.

Many of the condo complexes have limitation on what percentage of the building can be rented. There may be owners that would love to rent their units out, but can't because the rental cap has been met.
