I was in Savannah again this weekend. It looks as though Savannah has become so vibrant and festive more than ever.It seems busy alot. The nightlife is extensive and I dare say that the live music scene options are everywhere in Savannah. It used to be that Savannah was kinda dead at night. It seems that even at 1 am there were people hanging around in the renovated Ellis Square and nearby City Market

It probably helps that almost all of Savannah's nightlife and bar scene are in a very compact area downtown. Atlantas' is spread out all over the place.

YEP! I've been saying this for awhile now. It truly is amazing, especially the part about live music. All the clubs have their doors open and people just wander from one to the other all night long. And when the bars close at 3 am, there are several all-night restaurants downtown that keep the energy going (the police actually prefer this rather than having thousands of drunks trying to drive home all at once).

More Atlantans need to come down and enjoy all that's happening in Savannah!

Very true...Savannah's nightlife is pretty awesome for city of it's size, but it's nowhere near the size of Atlanta's. The concentration of it in Savannah is what makes it better, but Atlanta has it's concentrated areas too - and several of them.
