He should be OK because he is 15. If he was 16 or 17, his life would essentially be over no matter what the courts did because he would be booked as an adult and his mug shot and the list of charges would come up on multiple sites everytime you Google his name from now on even if he were found innocent or the charges were dropped. That is what needs to reformed in this state.

I know its pretty much OT for this thread, butttt

I found myself looking over the sex offender list this Halloween out of curiosity. As I went through it, I realized I was doubting a large percentage of the entries. Yeah, he was probably just two years older than her. Or, he may have just been relieving himself outside. Maybe this guy was just mooning a passerby at a young age. Etc...

Point is, the list is almost meaningless because they dump in simple offenders with the nastiest of people. They have diluted the good intentions of this list and now I find myself giving these guys the benefit of the doubt.

Technically this happened just outside PTC, but still ... the visual image of two teenage thugs -- students at a Christian school no less -- robbing million dollar homes and escaping via golf cart is pretty funny.

They need to get the Department of Defense to give them a few fully outfitted MRAP's.

Those golf cart people can be extremely devious. They have also been known to smart off to uniformed officers.

Maybe the title of the thread should be changed to "Only in Fayette County" ...

Golf cart operators in unincorporated Fayette County must register their vehicles separately in Peachtree City to drive in the city, and Peachtree City cart owners must do the same in Fayette County, or they risk receiving citations for driving an unregistered cart. The county has an agreement in place with Fayetteville and Tyrone so that this is not necessary in those jurisdictions.
