Looks like a cool place...maybe a smaller Dave & Buster's? Either way, it's in a great location for the product they deliver, so I'm sure they will be successful. I think I'll head over there some weekend, looks fun!

That closing time has to be wrong. No way they are closing at 11pm on Friday and Saturday while serving alcohol

Great news. Downtown is poised for a comeback. If the city can just focus on the area between Five Points and Garnett MARTA stations now and continue with the Sweet Auburn area. Downtown may be the "place to be!"

Downtown has seen substantial growth in population and investment over the years. No doubt South Downtown will be an up-and-coming area soon, 5-10 years.

Fingers crossed. That is the one part of town I make sure I lock my doors when driving through.

I think so too. It's not like there have to be 50 and 60 story towers there. Just some density! Maybe 5 to 15 story condos/apts and some with street level shopping or bars or something. Maybe even some smaller office buildings and hotels. Already a MARTA rail station there and CBH is right around the corner too. That may even be a catalyst for Underground to come out of the mud it has been in and clean itself up. Someone could easily walk the 4 or 5 blocks or hop the train one station and enjoy that entire area of downtown.

I'll definitely check it out great addition to that area. I have to say, even though I'm no longer a night owl, I agree with Tony, 11pm closing on fri and sat. Really? At least stay open to 1am like D&B's.

1. Closing at 11PM makes a lot of sense in that part of town. If they close at 11 then tipsy patrons and revelers will be making their way to their cars/MARTA by 11:30PM and on their way home before midnight.

2. While I am happy to see development in the area, I do not think Game-X will last. They chose a location which should let them capitalize on the Coca-quarium visitors, but if it is really like a Dave & Busters then the services they offer are an odd fit? From what I remember, Jillian's, RW Goodtimes, and D&B make most of their cash off of single 20 and 30-somethings. I always got more of a family vibe from the visitors around Centennial.
