Earlier this year, developer Brand Properties began pitching the site — at Spring, 13th and West Peachtree streets — to tenants, according to sources familiar with the plans.

Is that the block with SkyHouse on the southern half?

Yep. I think so. Skyhouse is on the north corner of 12th and West Peachtree.

I believe they could have a myopic view and not appreciate the competition. Hopefully, they will view it in the long run though - a substantial healthcare area is developing that should lead to better results for all three institutions.

Skyhouse is definitely on the southern end of that block.

I like shopping at fab'rik. Hope they find another location nearby though I guess I could drive over to Atlantic Station. The location on that block is close to work and is their flagship store so I'd miss it.

Wonder how many views at SkyHouse this will block.

Good. One less parking lot. I would hate to have to hear ambulances going to the hospital 24/7 if I lived nearby

^The proposal is for an office tower, not a hospital.

How sound proof these units are in these new towers is quite impressive. When I lived in Viewpoint, if you had the balcony door open you could almost not talk over the sound of firetrucks streaming out of the station on 10th and going down Peachtree. But when you shut the door you could hear a pin drop.
