Current or future.

I think mine is the section that runs parallel to Piedmont Park. I don't think many people know about it (or at least use it). It's kind of like running down a dirt road in rural Georgia right in the middle of a huge city. It's a nice transition from running with a ton of people, to running by yourself in the middle of a forest like setting. Also, now that the new Piedmont Park North section is finished, it provides a nice turnaround to run back through the park.

I bet majority of people say eastside trail. It is my favorite as its a corridor to walk/bike seperated from traffic. It serves more than just recreational trail. Which most of the beltline will do.

I don't have a fave, but I can't wait to run the section you mentioned parallel to Piedmont Park. It sounds like it may look like that stretch of Silver Comet Trail at Mavell Rd (the only point of reference that comes to mind), and I already love the Piedmont Park area even with the ton of people.

i haven't been on huge sections of it, but i really like the stretch between wylie street and memorial in reynoldstown. it's really pretty, especially where the trees hang over the tracks. i really hope they won't have to clear cut that section.

I love the east side trail for now. Starting south and heading north gives you a very nice downhill ride. I love the art under the bridges and stopping at the skate park for a minute to watch people braver than I.

The trail up around Collier is pretty nice too. Love that huge railroad trestle.
