Sweet Auburn Curb Market was ranked #16 in the best food markets in the world.

I'd have rated Pike Place Market in Seattle and West Side Place in Cleveland better than Sweet Auburn Curb Market.

No way...

Higher than the Naschmarkt in Vienna? Higher than Chelsea Market in NYC?
Higher than Bangkok?!

The Curb market is the only one that doesn't even belong on that list if we are being realistic. Not that it isn't cool but get real...Plaza Fiesta and the Dekalb Farmers Market are better in my opinion.

I'd like it better if they stayed open later. It's impossible to go there after work, even though it's on my way home. All the stalls start cleaning up and putting everything away around five. They're technically open until six, but who wants to shop there when the shop owners are blatantly telling you they're trying to GTFO ouf there ASAP?

Im surprised its ranked in the top 20. Im also suprised America only has two on that list. I figured there would be more in America that would rival Sweet Auburn. Ive only been to Sweet Auburn once but wasn't that impressed but I guess it can only get better with the street car!

I've always loved the Municipal market for nostalgic reasons, but frankly it disappoints in terms of quality, size and variety.

It's not in the same league as places like the DeKalb or Buford highway farmers markets. And it's certainly not comparable to the other great markets mentioned in this article.

I agree with others, doesn't even come close to Pike Place market and others and even just in Atlanta, I regularly drive 10 miles to Dekalb Farmers market but rarely go 1/2 mile to the Curb market. Extended hours and a more interesting mix of local produce and other goods would help

Some people refuse to let Atlanta have anything. Shouldn't you be worrying about the government shut down over there in Arlington?
