Not bad for a single black man, doing his thing. I like Rick Ross, much success to the kid.

But the slight mistake is understandable, since bougie is derived from bourgeoisie.

Lol Rozay as bougie?? Dude is over weight & takes his shirt of way to much, but if I recall Ceelo Green used to do the same thing. Puff Daddy, Jay Z, Kanye West....they fit the bougie tag. Jay mainly due to who his wife is, but I like her to. Shes a cutie, it her fanbase of bougie biches & bougie homos that get Jay Z in the bougie club lol. Oh yea Drake too...

Well I guess he "ain't ballin" & "reppin" the 305 'no more'! He'll probably be foreclosed on in a few years. At least he should have bough a house in Miami by the water and he wouldn't lose his shirt in the process.

Really?

While I can't condone the purchase of this house, how is this a worse financial move than the typical American? Would you be questioning the family with two working professionals buying a $300k home in Kennesaw? Seems to me that it's not likely for this family to have over $1M net worth (3.5x the price of their house).

You sure you didn't form your opinion because it's Holyfield and Rick Ross?

^His career isn't quite like most people's (more like Evander's than the avg American). How long does the average recording artist have in terms of top earning? Most manage maybe an album or three before their career peters out. NFL stars have longer careers.

Homes are illiquid and Evander's house isn't exactly a Central Park Penthouse so there isn't broad appeal so good luck getting top dollar if you need to move. Holyfield had an incredibly long career as a boxer and still couldn't keep the home. Regardless of how much success Ross has had thus far..will he be more like Diddy or DMX (bankrupt after selling 30M albums)?

I thought I'd finally take a look at exactly what house we're talking about, and now I'm really willing to say $8 million was a bargain.

It's impressive; I'll give it that. Boxing was pretty good to him.
