Any suggestions on where to get negatives/35mm film developed in Atlanta? I would like to have them printed poster sized and preferably done in-store or at a specialty store, not a big box, but higher quality.

Thanks!

I still see a photo counter at all of them. They're probably at other drug stores as well.

A lot of drug stores, despite having "photo centers" on-site, send your film to a processing center. Their photo centers are mostly digital equipment, and not 35 mm equipment. If I was getting a poster sized print, I would go to a specialty store.

Camera Doctor near Emory does good work. They process b/w in store, but they send out their color jobs.

JPD - thanks for the info, even if they send it out, hopefully it will be of better quality than chain stores!

I'm sure the quality would be very good, since they can't rely on the side income from selling Band Aids and Tuns like the drug stores can. I don't mean to suggest, however, that there aren't any experienced folks still doing quality processing in drug stores. I'm sure there are some folks out there doing great work, but I think they'd be the exception rather than the norm at this point.
