Tell Me More is on WABE in the evenings. Is it being cut from that, too?

WABE is 90.1. I listened to Tell Me More last night and I hope it will survive.

Am I the only one the other side of it? I feel the program is too racial and religion focused and mis-represents NPR's general theme of neutrality.

NPR will quit production of Tell Me More as of August 1; so, it won't be available on WABE (unless they play reruns, of course). This is sad news. IN MY OPINION, much of what is on the radio (and television for that matter) is nothing but pure entertainment with no other societal value. At least I feel when listening to NPR and other public broadcasts that I stand a chance to learn something.

Gee, that is sad news, Ansley. Tell Me More is one of my favorite programs.

Bummer. Michel Martin is so sharp. I hope she gets a place in a new show.
