Saying good-bye to Truett Cathy while knowing his extended family lives on | SaportaReport

Another great article by Maria Saporta. Another person with significantly different beliefs / stances (per the article) who is praising the Cathy family as a whole. It just goes to show you that the people that who hate CFA and the Cathys have no idea what they are talking about.

Those who claim to despise the judgmental are usually the first to do so.

There's a difference between judging via the statement of a belief or opinion, and judging through the enactment of policy and/or financial support of said judgmental policy.

One is worse and more harmful than the other. Guess which one.

It's really not a judgment thing with me. Who exactly is trying to force a viewpoint on anyone else? It is what it is. If someone says what they feel in public these days, they are subject to stoning the next. No one has the courage for honest debate anymore.

My point is not about about what people say or believe. I don't care what people say or believe. I do care when those beliefs are turned into laws and policies that prohibit specific things from one group of people, while allowing, encouraging, and expecting those same things from another group of people.

In other words, if they don't believe what I believe, I judge them and consider them less than. Be honest enough to admit it.

I'm not talking about judging. I'm talking about enforcing.
