Check Youtube of Virgin Atlantic first arrival into Atlanta. It at 27:11 in the clip. They sent a 787 on the first flight.

Wow, that guy is great! I thought it was a joke, but he appears to have many more videos.

For some reason it makes me happy people get that excited over nothing. Reminds me of the railfan folks that go too far, I believe they are referred to as Foamers. Some of the videos are hilarious and scary at the same time.

The arrival of Virgin Atlantic is just due to the deal with Delta, but it's still awesome. Between the Virgin 787 and the Korean A380, we've finally had the full range of new jets cycle through ATL.

I'd still really like to see a "real" new flag carrier come through. COPA, Avianca, China Southern, etc. But this is still cool even if it's just replacing Delta flights.

It sure is a shame we couldn't keep Aeromexico for some reason. I and my coworkers flew that a bunch and it was full like 100% of the time. They upgraded it from a regional jet to a 737...then canceled it. Bizarre.
