Please note any other neighborhoods that you feel have amazing lights, thanks!

Nothing specific, but I used to be under the impression that wealthier neighborhoods had better lights...makes sense, they can afford them.

But it's not necessarily true. In Atlanta, I've noticed that often more middle class areas have more festive lights. They may be a bit more willy nilly and tacky, but I believe you can pretty much get away with anything you want when it comes to holiday decorations, even if you coat your entire front lawn in Peanuts and Disney blow-ups (I've seen this).

Also -- and I hope this is taken in the spirit it is intended -- areas with heavy Hispanic populations often have many lights.

Wow, thanks for this! My young toddler LOVES Christmas lights. Every day on the way home from daycare, I drive him through different neighborhoods to see the light displays. He just stares out the car window in amazement, squealing "Ooooh! Treeee!!" (he uses the word "tree" for lights because of Christmas trees..)
I'm happy to see one of the neighborhoods on the list is right around the corner from us

Blue Springs subdivision in Kennesaw also has some amazing lights and themed blow-ups.

I know it's not free, but the Botanical Gardens has a great display of lights and music. There are working model trains, lights dancing with the music, and even the conservatory is decorated. (the area with the frogs has laser lights that look like raindrops-and the frogs are singing so loud you would think it was a recording)

I'm not into the whole Xmas thing. However, Emory University Hospital does it big, every year. No pics, btw.

The Botanical Gardens does have a lovely light show which meanders through the park, including the conservatory where you hear the frogs chirping. Very fun and festive- drink stands, s'more making and a toy train. Buy tickets online for peak days, though.
