I just moved to the Marietta area a few weeks ago. I am going be hosting a small Superbowl party and looking for a place in Marietta with good wings. Probably going need 100-150 wings, does anyone have any suggestions?

To the OP, I honestly don't know too much about wings, period, but there are three BBQ joints I can think of that might be good choices:

Dave Poe's BBQ on Whitlock, about a mile west of the Square
Williamson Bros on Roswell St., just east of US41
Heirloom Market BBQ in Cumberland, on Akers Mill just east of Powers Ferry (not sure if they do wings, but the BBQ is top notch, with an Asian twist on some of the items)

In your area, I like the wings from Doc's in Smyrna. It's sort of a dive, but even my parents like them the most. I just call in my order and pick them up.

My second besr choice is Three Dollar Cafe's wings. There's one location on Windy Hill Rd in Marietta. I have not been there in a while, but i assume it's still open. The wings have been consistently good at every location I have visited.

I see you're starting out with a bang and hope you have fun at your party!

Side note: I order them naked and medium hot. If you want them breaded, and a little wet you may just want to go with Hooter's which has a strong following but the flavor and texture is not my thing.

They changed the name and I can't remember it right now but the best wings around were at Wild Wing Cafe off of 120. Still the same people but the name is different now. Great wings and lots of flavors to choose from.

This town has so many chicken wing places that it is hard to believe that chickens are not extinct.

JR Crickets has the best wing..but my last visit to Atlanta they closed the one that was across the street from the Varsity. I went to the one on bankhead but they had the nerve to say they were out of chicken...are their any other Jr Crickets around?

It's called "The Wing" now and I must agree with you. These are the best I've had in the Marietta area.
