Are you already in Georgia? If not, please be sure you understand graduation requirements in GA for high schoolers. High schoolers must pass 4 tests -- science, social studies, language arts and math to graduate. Georgia has a huge drop out problem...

I would suggest you live near your job because traffic is really bad. Where are you going to work?

You shouldn't have a problem finding daycares with hours up to about 6:30 pm or so.. .most won't open until around 6am. You will find areas with high crime all around. I would also agree that you shouldn't make a permanent decision until you know where you will be working as your area encompasses a wide area of the metro.

Also consider housing costs. You didn't say whether you will be renting or buying, but generally, higher price equals more safety and better schools. Disclaimer: crime can happen anywhere.

900 a month will probably be a little short of what you would need to spend on rent in a good neighborhood. You would most likely need to bump that up around 300 or so.
