My husband and I are moving to the Atlanta area (job relocation). We feel pretty good about the areas where we'd like to live, but have not been able to find a real estate agent.

Also, we're familiar with the area - I grew up there and most of my family still lives in metro Atlanta. That's why we're moving!! My husband finally landed a job after searching for a while, so we're pretty pumped!

We'd greatly appreciate any recommendations, as we'll be visiting this coming weekend.

Here's some of our home search criteria:

1) Good schools (currently have an 18 month old and hoping to have at least one more join the crew in the next few years)
2) Budget - $500-700k
3) Areas - Marietta, Johns Creek, Brookhaven (we're open to others as well, husband's job is downtown)
4). New build, younger home, or recent remodel/upgrade
5). Single family 5 bed/ 3 bath, finished basement (realize might be a bit much for those areas at that price point for a new build)
6). Recreation nearby - rec center, trails, pool
7). Ok with hour commute (my job is TBD)

We're hoping to find a realtor who is a dedicated agent (ie not their side gig - we work long hours and with a toddler need someone with good follow-up), is responsive, and likes to negotiate.

Thank you in advance for your recommendations. If you're a realtor and have availability, please PM me.

Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Rosewell, East Marietta all will be good for your budget.

East Marietta has some of the best schools in Atlanta metro.

Brand new construction, builder doesn't finish the basement though. We can help you to find a contractor to finish the basement as well.
