I usually try to whack it out with a stick. If necessary I will get down on the ground, though that's a last resort.

The buses or routes? Because I've always thought MARTA buses were clean, comfortable and modern compared to other transit systems.

The buses, particularly the brand new ones, are clean and comfortable. And for the most part, on time. The app showing real time bus locations is handy, too.

If the bus would pick me and my dog up at my house, drive to my child's school, sit in the carpool line for 30 minutes, pick up child, drive through chick-fil-a, stop at CVS for a few minutes, drive to soccer practice, sit for an hour, pick child back up from soccer practice, and drive us back home, then I would ride the bus. That would work.

All busses suck. New York Busses, Chicago Busses, Indian Busses - London Busses are kinda cool. But only if it's the old double-decker kind.

Back in NYC I would rather take the dollar van that rode behind the bus on the same route than take the bus. lol

Expanding the rail to go in more then 4 directions. The rail is fast, busses are slow. I'd rather see a system setup where a bus is more of a to the rail and "last mile" from the rail then the way it's setup now. Now the only way the rail does any good is if you need to move a very large straight distance from one side of Atlanta to the next. There's also been a couple of places I wanted to go that a bus didn't even go to. Was gonna head up to itt tech and nothing went out that way. Wtf?

I have no complaints with them either. Most of the time they're very punctual too.

It's the whole bus experience. Sorry. I'm old, lazy and prefer my car.

An interesting article:

Given what we know from these two pictures alone, there's no reason to suspect these two rides—modern BRT or modern light rail—would be noticeably different experiences. And yet when transport scholars David Hensher and Corinne Mulley of the University of Sydney Business School showed these images to about 1,370 people in six Australian capital cities, the difference in preference was enormous.
