I am a Registered Nurse and I was offered a job at Northside Hospital. I will be relocating to Georgia the first week in february with my 20 year old daughter. Please help me find a family oriented and safe neighborhood near the hospital. I am not familiar with the area. Thank you in advance.

What is your budget? There are great family friendly neighborhoods in the Dunwoody area. Do you want new or established? Condo or SFH? Great apartment community and condos in Perimeter Place (highrise/walkable). Established neighborhoods in Dunwoody. Brookhaven is also very nice but a bit more expensive with pockets of crime in areas but worth a look with an agent. Also the Glenridge area may be great for you. If you were to drive South on PTree Dunwoody (away from the hospital) and then make a Right on Windsor Parkway and then another Right on HighPoint, there are lots of little streets with a mix of older and newer homes. Everyone walks around this area. There is a large population of orthodox Jewish families who walk to the nearby synagogue and school and it's very much a community. It would take you about 3 minutes to get to work. Other streets to check out are Northland Drive and the little streets connecting to it. Welcome!
