I am okay with the Braves moving to Cobb as it is probably a more sustainable location for them and their fan base. They've been south of downtown for half a century without the stadium area ever really catching on. In Cobb they are starting out on fire.

As far as backroom deals and whatnot, let's remember how we got the team here in the first place. Everybody was assuring Milwaukee that the Braves would never leave, and then all of a sudden boom, they are in Atlanta.

Hey, could "going Green" also mean extending MARTA from Bankhead into Cobb?

Maybe they could repurpose that old Hartsfield incinerator on Jackson Pkwy as a station while they're at it, although I know there are already other plans for that site.

I know, dream on, right?
