We had lunch with some friends there today and it is certainly a good looking community. It's easy to get there and they have just about every kind of retail and amenity imaginable.

Also lots of jobs in that area. Results in a very congested PIB and Peachtree Pkwy in the afternoon. Only thing lacking is the quality of public schools in that area. Norcross isn't the worst by any means (looking at you Meadowcreek) but it's not in the top tier either.

I agree, the issue there is the public schools. Not terrible, but not that good either.

On the way home we swung by Jones bridge Park and it would dwarf the action on the Beltline. So much for the theory that folks in the suburbs don't get out and about!

In Arjay's defense, the beltline is filled past what-I-consider-expected capacity pretty regularly. It is an exercise in dodging/avoiding other people, bicycles, longboards, etc.
I would not take the belt line over Gwinnett's parks system, but Fulton Co has Piedmont Park, which is currently the metro area's #1 park.
