Braves stadium hotel: 16 floors, 260 rooms, 50-50 partnership | www.ajc.com

A "50-50" deal? Wonder what the details of that are? Are the Braves ( / Cobb co) chipping in half the costs to build the thing? Are the Braves going to have enough time to run the baseball team between their real estate, entertainment, and hotel businesses?

Will hotel guests be asked to bike to the hotel with their luggage?

The Braves are doing a good job of filling out this complex.

If it had transit access, there would be no complaints from me. I'm mostly over them leaving the city the way they did at this point.

Nice.

When those folks in Cobb get ready to do something they don't mess around.

Getting them to come was the easy part (offer taxpayer money, don't tell the taxpayers and when you do, lie and say it won't cost the taxpayers).

Cobb will not do any of the hard stuff.... just like the rest of the region.

For all the folks who are getting down on Cobb, I would just point out the obvious.

50 years in the current location south of downtown:
-- Number of new hotels?
-- Number of new retail establishments?
-- number of new restaurants?
-- number of new residential units?
-- number of new office buildings?
-- Number of transportation improvements at stadium?

0 years at Cumberland:

-- Well, I'll let someone else do the math.
