They have a huge space available on the second floor where REI would have been. I wonder what other tenant can fill that space

Man, an REI would have been nice. Hopefully another similar outdoor store can come in that isn't too insanely overpriced.

Mountain High Outfitters will open a store there. I can only assume the PCM location just didn't fit what REI was looking for at this time. They do have a few urban stores but those are all considered flagship stores.

I am shocked they wouldn't consider a flagship store in Atlanta, in PCM and along the largest urban redevelopment project in the US. They must be happy settling for the suburbs. That's fine, I prefer to shop at my local bike shop anyways.

FWIW, REI's original store in Atlanta is off I-85 at Clairmont.

August at the earliest.....feels like this is dragging now.

Also feel bad for the residents who were led to believe that the amenities would be opening up from early this year.
