I wonder how this affect the oft-discussed plans for a Paulding County airport....
Quote:
Atlanta plans to create a "development and action plan" for hundreds of acres it owns around the Atlanta airport and thousands of acres it owns in Dawson and Paulding counties.
The city owns about 500 acres around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, about 10,000 acres in Dawson County north of Atlanta, and about 9,400 acres in Paulding County, west of Atlanta. In a June 24 request-for-proposal it says it hopes to identify "innovative opportunities to realize additional value" from the airport's real estate.

The city is seeking a real estate consultant to help it determine the "highest and best use" for airport-owned sites based on a market analysis of property types including office, cargo, logistics, industrial, retail, entertainment, "non-traditional," residential and hotel. The consultant would also develop requests-for-proposals for property offerings that align with the strategic direction and advise on lease renewals and third-party master development proposals.

Is it just me, or is this map confusing?

I think I get the idea of it. The airport is a behemoth that owns a ton of property county and city lines be damned.... lol

The main thing that is hard to read to me is the yellow airport boundary in the Southwest Corner around those industrial buildings.
