There still is a shuttle bus. Last summer a friend and I shot the hooch from Cochran Shoals to Paces Mill, they picked us up for free and brought us back to my car.

It was a total blast, BTW. So cool. Just make sure to wear good sunscreen all over your body, and don't forget knees and above the knees.

Be careful with the snakes and snapping turtles, some areas are infested off the main flows. A friends son got bit and it was really nasty, had to amputate his toe.
