Just received an AJC news alert that there appears to have been a shooting at the College Park rail station. MARTA hasn't confirmed whether it was on their property. I sure hope that this does not reverse or reduce the momentum that MARTA appears to be garnering for rail expansion...

I'm waiting for a return text with updated info about this from my contact @ MARTA HQ.
Depending on where it happened, I am concerned that the north-south red/gold line service could be interrupted.

I heard it happened near a road. Hopefully it doesn't hurt some of the momentum for road expansion.

Linked the AJC article in another thread. It was at the station and they re-routed buses away from the station. Think the trains may have turned around at East Point as well.
