I was sure I had read that but now I think I was confused with Mableton.

If LH fails, Tucker would probably immediately start looking at annexing some of those areas.
What would be even more weird is if this pushes the LH area to being incorporated to COA for fear of being annexed by Tucker--a monster they created!--especially in light of this mailer--

Atlanta annexation subject of LaVista Hills mailer - Decaturish

'course, we will know in a couple of hours.

Yeah, I was kinda in favor of Lavista Hills but I think they could be a good candidate for annexation into CoA instead. Especially if Druid Hills goes that way.

Another awkward thing (regardless of this vote but especially if LH goes no), is that one little section that Brookhaven annexed, south of 85, shown on the above map there.

Children's Healthcare and Executive Park annexed into Brookhaven because they didn't want to be a part of what was then a proposed city of Briarcliff. But now it will be funny if all the area surrounding them becomes part of Atlanta.

I didn't like it, just because I thought 85 made for a nice 'natural' south border for Brookhaven.

Looks like LaVista Hills is probably dead.

Interesting they are conceding already. The next wave of results show it is still a very tight race. 49.5% to 50.5%

Edit: guess that is all the vote in. Close race for LH then.

As it should be.

Now, Tucker needs to annex the rest of Livsey, Evansdale, the rest of Northlake, and the Henderson/Henderson Mill Area.

Pleasantdale and points north to Doraville.

Embry Hills to Chamblee.

The rest of the proposed LaVista Hills, Greater Druid Hills, Medlock, McLendon/Valley Brook corridor, Scottdale, Sandtown, Fulton Industrial, South Fulton north of Union City/Fairburn, Gresham Park, Candler-McAfee, most of Belvedere Park, White Oak Hills, and Constitution all to the City of Atlanta.

Looks like it was extremely close actually, but LH lost 50.5% to 49.5%.

With 24 of 24 precincts reporting, it is...

6,789 YES
6,925 NO
