I like the idea but if you are going that far why not just cap the whole thing. What's the point of leaving open that hunk behind the T J Max?

It looks like you can go see the details this evening at the Buckhead theatre.

Mixed feelings. It looks really cool and unique. But why did they give up on capping the lanes, so much wasted potential space! I personally like the pedestrian bridges as if I would prefer to not have to interact w/ a car at all as a ped.

Side note: I'm really starting to hate the Atlanta Business Chronicle. I don't mind paying for content, but their price is absurd. I'm never going to subscribe and I doubt any casual readers would, they need to back off the price. I'm thinking I would like to see links to their paywalled articles blocked from being posted to C-D, but maybe that's too harsh. It just seems wrong to post articles that virtually no one can read

They're selling news. That's what I don't understand about ABC, and that ridiculous price tag.

It's not in depth articles and extended interviews and pages of content, it's just renderings that someone passed them, and a couple paragraphs of vague info. And they probably pay to make it exclusive so they can turn around and sell it.

I don't have a problem with newspapers charging a fee for some content. They've got to stay in business and advertising only covers so much.

Plus they also have a lot of free articles.

How would you propose they make a complete street out of GA400?

I think he is referring to the bridges over Peachtree and the Lenox connector.

looks like a complete waste of money. they're not even making the properties that back up to 400 even connect to the plaza. what's the point if they're not even going to accomplish what they set out to do?
