Amen, Ansley. I just checked the schedule, and in September they're doing Rach 2, one of my favorites... I was present for another ASO performance of it many years ago, with Hélène Grimaud as the soloist. Both she and the ASO were magnificent. Might have to go to this year's performance as well.

We are far too close to Miami for Ultra to come here as well as downtown MIA.

Sad that TW will probably never return to Atlanta

Yeah, I mean, I guess every city has things they really loved that didn't last. But it kind of feels to me like Atlanta has a pretty significant problem keeping nice things. Not attracting them, but keeping them.

A short list of things Atlanta got, which were good, but then lost:

1) The E3 expo
2) Tomorrowworld
3) The Thrashers
4) Backstreet (and other night clubs like it)

Well, I guess that's it, but those things just sort of feel significant.

How is TW Atlanta faults for losing when the owner was shady? Furthermore how can you group nightclubs and events together. It occurs everywhere NYC is losing a famous B.B. King spot. We know that city has the best nightlife. Please don’t discount the owners of those past places mismanagement, which is the sole factors for the loses.

Lol.

If this is all you can come up with then ATL is better than most places? Tomorrowworld was just mismanaged and it makes sense to put E3 where the industry is.

What about all the stuff ATL got that came from somewhere else?

I don’t know about NYC having the best nightlife but yeah, they lose stuff all the time. This isn’t unique to any large metro.
