Welp, the Patriots deflated the Falcons.

Agree my girl Serena Williams is wonderful.. The GOAT.. I knew when the Falcons choked and didn't score on the 4th quarter that they had lost even before the overtime began. 😢😢😢😢

Yup, that's true. Life goes on.

Still, I'm very annoyed at Shannahan for his stupid play calling in the second half.

Dont forget the Atlanta Dream making it to the finals a few times and losing

True. We arent going to win any money if they win. We still have to go to work. If your credit jack up its still going to be jacked up if we win or lose lol. Doesnt really benefit us

Ah yes. Even our minor teams disappoint. Gladiators made it to the finals and lost to Alaska. Haven't been back since then. Dream have made it to the playoffs 7 of their 9 years but no championships. Per Wikipedia "They have been in the finals for three of four years, but haven't won a single game in them, going 0-9."
Ouch.
GA Force made it to the playoffs 6 times winning 0 championships.

Yet, this one will hurt. When the Pats intercepted Seattle's Wilson pass in 2015, it is reminiscent of how the Falcons lost today. Yes, with Seattle it was one play, with Atlanta it was a series of plays, but the result is the same. Two teams that lost games against the Pats that they should have won. Don't be fooled, these games will stick with you for years. I guess the easy answer is to just ignore it and look forward. However, it usually doesn't work that way. These things tend to linger, and Atlanta will have to deal with it just like Seattle did. The typical response is we will get it next year. But this is unusual in general. Not to be negative, but it is hard to get to a Super Bowl two years in a row. Atlanta is strong, though, and there is always hope.

I don't have a clue why they stopped running Freeman. I don't have a clue when you're up 28-12 and it's third and one, you drop back Ryan. Run the football. You need to run clock.

Just got back a little while ago from a watching party. Man that sucked. Really, really sucked.

Still. They gave the Pats a run for the money, something that a lot of other teams were not able to do. Give this team a defense that can play four quarters of football and we just might go all the way next year.
