Even though the sports teams often disappoint don't worry guys, we're all still winning at life because we get to live in the hottest city in America.

I will say this. Next year is year 3 for Dan Quinn and is normally the peak year for a new Head Coach. It's Super Bowl or bust next year without a massive rebuild on offense.

This is true. I quickly stopped any feelings of depression by reminding myself that the city is not defined by the NFL.

As a very minor Atlanta sports fan, I am done. I would truly be a fool to ever get emotionally invested into another Atlanta based sporting event. The Thrashers, The Braves move, this. Atlanta, from a sports perspective, has done nothing but massively disappoint.

I guess it helps that I'm not a huge sports fan to begin with, but I'm officially withdrawing my status as any form of an Atlanta sports fan. It's just not worth it. My fandom of Atlanta, however, is stronger than ever.

We should take tremendous pride in the fact that the Falcons were one of only two teams to make it to the Superbowl. We totally dominated the first half and held the lead until the final seconds over what may be the most successful franchise in history.

And for those who want to criticize the Falcons for "choking," what's holding you back from getting out there and demonstrating how you think football should be played in the NFL? If you can do a better job of defending against Tom Brady's passing attack I'm sure the team would love to sign you up.

Yeah, happened to Seahawks too 3rd year for Carroll, they have peaked. That LOB defense was hell for everyone.

Yeah it does hurt as a fan but NE did make the most of ATLs miscues to put on a great performance. New England knew they were toast when Julio caught the ball on the 32...New England's players and coaches were looking at an L. Then ATL just spazzed out and New England took over after that.

We gave the Boston patriots the super bowl. Just gave it to them. And now the pain and suffering of atl sports continues.

Ugh...I know we were one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this year, but this will hurt for a long time...

Atlanta sports just played the cruelest, most sadistic joke it's ever played on us.
