I have been looking online for info about this, and there's not much recent info available.

Does anyone know of schools that are currently vacant/for sale in southern and western Atlanta? I mean that area very generally, so basically anything ITP in that general quadrant of the city. The only two I have been able to see are Adair and Arkwright.

Thanks!

Interesting - back in the 80s there was the unused grammar school on Edgewood that turned into a band rehearsal space. My band rented space and while we weren't supposed to - we basically lived there also. It was a great place to practice and it was convenient to L5P so we could walk up the street and drink beer after rehearsal. The area had yet to experience the gentrification and massive growth that was soon to come. Anyway the owner was made one of those offers that was too good to be true so we were given the boot (along with the other bands renting space there) and the building was quickly converted to condominiums.
