Which do you think will be better overall once Battery Atlanta (BA) opens? They are all mixed use developments. If you take away Suntrust Park from Battery Atlanta they all function the same. I think BA will be better because.......

Bars???
Restaurants:BA>>>A>>>AS
Foot traffic: BA>>>AS>>>A
Events/Concerts: BA>>>AS/A
etc

Although they are all master-planned New Urbanist-esque developments, this is still comparing apples to pineapples to kumquats.

Kind of a stupid question. No one knows how SP will be because it isn't open. Could be horrible, long lines, bad parking, and the food could be overpriced and suck. Or it could be amazing.

Also this is comparing a concert and game venue to 2 mixed use mall developments. Not really sure the point?

I meant the Battery Atlanta on days the Braves arent playing. They will have a concert venue with 40 shows per year, they are having a few huge concerts on the baseball field, great bars and restaurants, etc.

We'll have to see how it performs once it opens. Can't compare it to the other two just yet and again, it's just a different sort of animal from the other two.

I would not call PBR Atlanta a great bar, I mean it has a mechanic bull.

Battery Park will be great for entertainment but at this point it is not as comprehensive a mixed-use environment as Avalon and Atlantic Station.

It does not have a Grocery Store (Avalon has Whole Foods, Atlantic Station has Publix).

It does not have the same level of retail shops (Avalon has Container Store, Crate & Barrell etc, Atlantic Station has Dillards etc.)

Atlantic Station has a fitness center (LA Fitness) - if Avalon does not have one I am sure it won't be long.

I just see Avalon and Atlantic Station as an area that you can live in and walk to almost everything you need - Battery Park has apartments and office space but you are going to still need a car to get to many services
