What are the possible areas to get a 3bd townhouse just around the perimeter area (near Perimeter mall) for under $300k?

Try here:

Sorry, couldn't resist. What you're looking for may be available if you don't mind older construction...but I kinda doubt it.

I just bought a 9 year old 3 bed townhome around North Springs for 380k. The new construction ones I looked at were in the mid to upper 400s.

Good areas in ATL are not all that cheap anymore, Perimeter is one of them. Definitely not happening at your price.

What about Sandy Springs, isn't that very close to the Perimeter?

Same area, I bought in the city of Sandy Springs. No it isn't happening for that price.

"very close" is relative. Are you looking for walking-distance or within a certain mile radius? You won't find anything under 300K that is walking distance to perimeter center. But yes, there are townhomes in Sandy Springs along the Roswell Rd corridor that can be found for less than $300K. These homes are usually older and decent/fair quality.

Like everyone else, you'll have to sacrifice. You're not going to find a 3-bedroom new construction "very close" to Perimeter for under $300K.

I'll state the obvious and say just look at Zillow.
