Ok, he saw it again tonight, with passengers. At this point...I don't even know. But given how intently he's been looking for it now, I believe him 100%.

I ride Marta nearly every day and I never seen a 3 car train. Can you tell your friend to take a picture or video of it next time he sees it?

Every time he's seen it he's on 400. I know he wants to, but it's kind of hard to in that situation.

The only thing I can think of is maybe he thinks each married pair is one car so if you have a 6 car train that's three married pairs. I ride the red line from Arts Center Station to Sandy Springs train station for work and other personal business several times a week sometimes twice in a day I can almost guarantee you that there is no 3 car trains carrying passengers

No, he and I are both well versed in the technicalities of rail vehicles. He knows what a married pair is and what they look like.

You sure it wasn't a 6-car train that just looked like a 3-car train? We had an example pic of that earlier in the thread.
