It looks like they factor in cost as well, otherwise of course those cities would beat Atlanta. I mean what’s the point of living in a fun city if all of the clubs are too expensive or too exclusive to visit?

Subjective city lists are amusing.

I get what you're saying, but look who beat us. You think the clubs in Las Vegas and New York are less expensive and exclusive than ours?

And if you like to go out, how could anybody possibly say Atlanta is more fun/cheaper than New Orleans?

I mean... How did they even come up with these metrics? Did they really call a bunch of bars and find out how much they charge for drinks? I'd LOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEE to know what data they actually used and where they got it.

The availability of outdoor recreation and activities available to anyone at no charge should instantly propel Honolulu approximately 100 million places above Atlanta. But, oh, sorry...it might cost $14 instead of $13 to go to the movies there.

I am from the gulf coast and granted, NOLA is fun to visit, especially the French Quarter, but I couldn't imagine living there and that being pretty much the only thing consistently fun to do.

Once you do all the swamp and history stuff there really isn't that much going on most of the year.

Atlanta has stuff happening all the time all around it.

They are really on different levels if you talking about visiting vs living.

Now I can see how Vegas and NYC won out. There is a ton more stuff to do in both cities.

I don't think they were thinking about living somewhere.

If so, what is there really to do in Las Vegas if you live there once you've done all the touristy stuff?
