Okay, so it adds a few minutes. A decent cyclist can easily average 10 mph in an urban environment.

And motorists should all have to go 10 miles per hour because someone decided to ride a bike?

Why not just allow pedestrians in the street and make everyone drive 2 miles per hour? It only adds a few minutes!

I have noticed in recent years, those highly reflective jogging vests like I remember my father used to wear when jogging after sundown seem to be making a comeback. I've seen them a lot lately, and they are really smart to own for people out walking around after dark in areas that aren't lit well.
Look at the standard uniform of service industry; dark colored pants and shoes.

streets use to be for people, not cars. Look at any old picture of cities, streets were public spaces not just used for moving 1 person in a 1 ton metal box.

They can easily buy something like this for the walk home. It's cheap and folds up easily.

Oh yea, great idea. Lets get mad at the cyclist riding with traffic when you there's like... you know, cars STOPPED in the MIDDLE OF THE STREET for deliveries, ride-share, or whatever..

Amazing drivers like you get so upset on a slow cyclist when there's cars and trucks literally blocking lanes everyday.

Yeah, they were also for horses and buggies...you wanna bring those back? Things change, cities evolve. There are lots of great places to ride a bike. The street's not one of them.

But anyway...aren't we supposed to be talking about pedestrians?
