One gets the impression that people in areas like Cobb, Druid Hills, and Alpharetta think they can make it without heavy rail transit. Granted, they may not have the density for it yet but bringing in heavy rail could help correct that.
How it would impact cut-thru traffic I don't know.

Druid Hills has a NIMBY mindset. As a result, its in their front yard. Traffic is horrendous. There are streets where you can't get off your street or out of your driveway in peak hours.

Yep, they apparently have no idea how their life would change if they had rail.
Better to devote the resources to places like Buford Highway where people need, want and actually use transit on a daily basis.
