Hillgrove or Allatoona High School (Kennesaw, Harrison: neighborhood, high schools, moving to)

Moving to the West Cobb area. After doing some research I think Hillgrove High School or Allatoona High School are our top choices or possibly Kennesaw Mountain High School. I've seen a post that's a decade or so old so I'd like some current opinions suggestions as I know schools in growing areas change rapidly.

Any neighborhood recommendations as well would be greatly appreciated. Would like to stay under $400K but we have some flexibility there. Commute is not a consideration (we work from home).

We will have children in elementary, middle, and just entering high school, so the feeder schools are important as well, but I've used the high school for my search primarily.

Sounds like you've settled on West/Northwest Cobb. I'd also add Harrison High School to your list. It's usually on par with the East Cobb schools and one of the top rated high schools in the state.
