I was on 285 EB headed to 85 NB just after 8. Fortunately I saw a GDOT sign saying all lanes blocked and planned to take the ramp to Pleasantdale Rd then to the frontage rd. Some a**hole in a hurry was tailgating me then chose to get on 85NB. They might still be stuck on 85 3 hours later.

Police forced us to detour onto Graves rd then to McDonough in order to get back to Jimmy Carter. The smoke plume was insane. I've seen a few from car fires, but this one was massive. I know they said a tractor trailer but I wonder if it was a fuel tanker. I saw some Gwinnett FD hazardous spill response unit headed towards it.

It was a fuel tanker. My parents were forced to get off of I-85 and saw it. When they go boom it's literally like a bomb.
