Right - lots of people fly for a living. Their boss will be putting them in an uncomfortable spot - between their wife that begs them not to go and their employer who says Go or Be Fired. It's really a crappy situation.

Here's a question: If you fly for work and catch it on a plane, how much can your spouse sue the employer for? Watch for it. It's gonna happen.

Or YOU could take YOUR car cross country since you think flying with someone with a medical condition that makes it difficult for them to breathe if they wear a mask is too scary for you. You are also NOT in charge on that plane.

The person with the medical condition is "concerned" about breathing, period.

Guess what hot shot.

Been there done that.

Nice try but I'm quite effective at doing my part to keep the spread down.

Let's see you do yours.

Then that 'person' doesnt need to fly if they're unwilling to wear a mask...period....

And lastly, it takes a special kind of stupid to jump on an Airliner while knowing full well you are an at-risk (with asthma and breathing problems) to the virus, and especially to do so without wearing a mask.

TBH I dont think this will be an issue for awhile. When the pandemic first broke out employers canceled flights in groves and demanded their employees not to fly for any business related matters. Too much liability in it. It does put some operations in a pinch but employers will likely carry as many operations as they can remotely for quite some time. My ex-employer intended to go the rest of this year full remote to give you an idea.

You said it yourself, some people HAVE to fly. The equation boils down to your slight risk of maybe catching a mild virus vs someone definitely having negative health consequences. Guess what? They win.

Well, my already high opinion of jetBlue increased today. They are now the only Airline that insist on wearing a mask, it is not a mere suggestion with them.

These people with bruised liberty syndrome need not even try.

Agreed. Airlines are supposed to make safety their top priority.

This whole where a mask or you're the devil mindset has gotten out of control. People have lost their minds.
