Your ignorance of the area south of I-20 is as obvious as your hilarious sarcasm. I realize that you don't have any real knowledge of any area south of Downtown Atlanta, but I didn't even mention SOUTH of anything. You stated that the Post Briarcliff complex is the first nice development one would come to if driving from I-20...I pointed out that there are MANY nice residential developments in between I-20 and Post Briarcliff - it is by far not the first.

I'm not sure how you interpreted my post as praising an area that you apparently condemn....but okay.

There was an article in the AJC this past week about the development of Executive Park--it's approved and the process is expected to begin within the next 2 years. A civic group is working to clean up Kittredge Park, FWIW.

North Druid Hills Residents Association will be holding public meetings>>>

If there are so many nice developments down there, one would think the thugs would stay down there instead of coming up to Post Briarcliff to rob and plunder. Maybe you could develop a guidebook for them pointing out some of the areas worth robbing down there. Might save them some gas.

Do you honestly think these "thugs" have nothing better to do, decide to pile in their cars, drive 25 minutes, just to terrorize innocent white people? You've got to be kidding me.

As a resident of Druid Hills, I would like to see more patrol presence WITHIN the communities. In the year I have lived in my complex I have yet to see on patrol cop drive within the non-gated complex. I don't think many crimes happen directly on N. Druid Hill as frequently as within the side streets connected to N. Druid Hills.

As far as being gated, that is essentially a joke in ATL. Unless a guard is present at the gates, I don't see the point in most apt complexes. OP, I would say be cautious no matter what complex you choose in the Druid Hills area. Its an open access area..there is going to be a level of criminal activity.

Honestly, I don't think all of the crime is from people from outside communities either....

Again...DOWN WHERE? You're the one who brought up south Atlanta - I never said anything about it! Get that through your thick head please. And if you're trying to say that there aren't any decent residential options in the areas between I-20 and Post Briarcliff, then you definitely need a guidebook of some sort because you are sadly mistaken.

I could develop a guidebook for a lot of Atlanta areas. Maybe you could develop more tactful communication skills.

Please try not to come back and argue about something that I never said. It's kinda crazy.
