For instance, back home we have po-boys but up in NYC they have subs and in Philly it's a hoagie. Subs and hoagies are terrible po-boys. They ain't got gravy on them and ain't made with French bread (and therefore they don't leave a mess of bread crumble all over you like a good po-boy should). What kind of roast beef po-boy doesn't have mash potatoes and gravy on it?!?!? Should run down your arm when you're eating it! And that sucker better be dressed! It's even better if it's made with debris.

But I imagine sub and hoagie lovers have a thing or two to say about po-boys.

ain't nobody make a good muffuletta anywhere outside the mouth of the Mississippi....
WRONG!!!!!! NYC has "heros".

They have both heros and subs...I looked it up. Afterall...it was NYC that first had actual subway trains, which were tubular at the time.

And a hero is an Italian sub, specifically...at least according to Wikipedia.

It still ain't a po-boy!

So you're getting your info off of wikipedia and not from someone who is originally from the area?

Don't be such a tete-dure. I put Wikipedia there as a reference because you can look that up but you can't look up my friends from NYC who call them subs.

There are a few full-service gas stations in the Atlanta metro. Here is one possible list of stations (http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-blogs/ajc/northsidetalk/entries/2007/07/17/does_your_car_u.html - broken link) from the AJC.

Coming from Canada, which grows the world's best durum wheat, the bread here seems awful. It has a soggy texture, ugh. However, I daresay a southerner transplanted to Canada would find Canadian bread not to their liking. It's all what you're used to.

I personally prefer pumping my own gas. It beats waiting in line for attendants moving at the speed of mud.
