So good. And so accurate.
Great articles too—especially the first one.

I like that the ranking and stories were based on everything within the city limits and didn't talk about the larger metro at all. The city is really starting to coalesce into feeling like one place and not everything above and/or below I-20 or the west side being a no-go zone.

That's like the third or fourth magazine that listed Atlanta as #1 for something over the past few months.

From #95 to #1, reminds me of Election Polls.

Yeah, I considered adding my original post to this (^^^) thread, but I chose to make a separate thread instead. I'm not sure if the metrics/criteria are 100% the same. I believe the US News ranking is about the Metropolitan Atlanta area, while the Money Magazine ranking is strictly talking about the City of Atlanta proper.

interesting list, though they seem to take neighborhoods for some cities (like chicago) and omit cities with large city limits. atlanta is definitely liveable and one of the better places to live in america that's for sure.

wow san fran was the top 10 on this list? hell no. where do they come up with this stuff. I feel like there should be caveats based on income level and race/ethnicity because those things matter. right now all POC in SF (Black, Asian, Hispanic) want to move out, yet it was in the top 10? lol

Both of the lists are dumb and not truly representative of the experience you get in most of the cities in the ranking and how they compare to each other.
